[BREAKING] Osun begins payment of unpaid salary, pensions

The Osun State Government has paid laborers’ compensations, leave rewards and annuities with the N16.6 billion Paris Club discount discharged to the state by the Federal Government.
The Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, who said this at a public interview in Osogbo on Thursday included that the state government included N3 billion produced from different sources to make it a sum of N19.8 billion which was utilized to pay the August pay rates, four months pay unpaid debts, benefits and leave rewards to the specialists.
The official said it was not the first run through Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s organization would submit such an immense sum got from the Federal Government to pay rates and benefits.
Oyebamiji stated, “The most recent Paris Club discount discharged to the state by the Federal Government is N16.623,296,402.82 while Mr Governor has endorsed the dispensing of N19,801,328,271.22 to clear four months of pay back payments, annuity unpaid debts and leave reward with sufficient arrangement for full pay rates.
“For the second month, we have now paid full compensations to every one of our laborers. It is my expectation and supplications that this will be managed, and we will never have cause to balance laborers’ pay rates in Osun again.
“In this manner, for Governor Rauf Aregbesola, I will jump at the chance to recognize and thank every one of the specialists in Osun for their forfeit, strength and courageous help to the legislature and devotion to obligation, even amidst overwhelming difficulties. I have almost certainly that laborers, in their evident considerate mindset and Omoluabi soul, will respond this great signal from the administration.”
